🧙♂️Keyboard shortcuts
A list of all key shortcuts for performing actions within Fabric. Wish a shortcut existed? Let us know!
In the desktop or web app:
Search
Simply press ⌘ (or Ctrl on Windows) and F to active search mode from anywhere in Fabric. If activated inside a space or folder, the search will be filtered to that space or folder.
Sideways hop between items
Simply press left ← or right → arrow keys to hop to the next or previous item in the current view. For example, if you are in a space with 3 items, opening the first item, and then pressing right → will take you to the second item in the space.
Multi-select
Simply hold ⌘ or Shift (or Ctrl on Windows) and click to select, or click again to un-select from the current selection.
In the desktop app:

Fabric spotlight search
Press ⌘+⌥+F (or Ctrl+alt+F on Windows) at any point on your desktop to trigger Fabric spotlight search. Search across your Fabric and all connected apps from anywhere on your computer.
Create a quick note (from desktop)
Press ⌘+⌥+N (or aCtrl+alt+N on Windows) at any point on your desktop to create a quick note.
In the browser extension:
How to bookmark a website:
Simply press ⌥+D (or Alt+D on Windows)
or
Click the "Save URL to Fabric" option in the extension drop down
or
Right click anywhere in the page and choose "Add page to Fabric"
Screenshot anything on the web:
Simply hold ⌘+⌥ (or Ctrl+alt on Windows) and drag.
Release to capture.
or
Click the "Screenshot region" option in the extension drop down
How to capture a link:
Right clickany link.Select
`Save link destination to Fabric`option in context menu
or
Hold ⌘+⌥ (or Ctrl+alt on Windows) and hover a link. The capture box should turn pink to indicate that it's a valid link.
Click to capture.
How to capture text content:
Highlight some text and
right click.Select
`Add highlight to Fabric`option in context menu
or
Hold ⌘+⌥ (or Ctrl+alt on Windows) and hover the block of text you want to capture. 
Click to capture.
How to capture image content:
Right click on any image and select `Add image comment`
or
Hold ⌘+⌥ (or Ctrl+alt on Windows) and hover the image you want to capture. 
Click to capture.
